The school maintains a policy of keeping class sizes small, in most cases less than 20. This allows the children to gain a more personal relationship with their teachers at the same time as enabling the teacher to know their children well and to devote more time to individuals and to monitor their progress with care.

As is the practice in British schools, children are placed in a year group according to age. However, we appreciate that children join Rainbow from different backgrounds and circumstances and, in exceptional cases, a child will be placed in a different year group than their age mates. The headteacher's decision regarding placement of a child will be final.

Parents are always welcome to visit the school, view the facilities and meet the teachers. We also encourage parents who are thinking about choosing Rainbow International School to let their children join a class for a day to experience the school for themselves.
