In Primary School we apply the method of differentiated teaching in the core subjects, Mathematics, English and Science. This ensures that children are given work appropriate to their ability.

Formal testing takes place at the end of each year for Year 2 and above in the form of SATs for the core curriculum subjects. In addition to this, informal assessments are carried out throughout the year.

If results at IGCSE are satisfactory, students may progress to an 'A' level (Advanced Level) course. Students sit Cambridge AS level (Advanced Subsidiary) examinations at the end of Year 12 and Cambridge 'A' levels at the end of Year 13.

Cambridge A Level exams are recognised internationally as entrance qualifications for University. At 'A' level we offer students a choice of 17 subjects: - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Art, Geography, History, English Literature, French, Psychology, Applied ICT, Economics, Accounting, Music, Business Studies, Sociology and German.
