Year 2004/5 Lucy Minde: After her first year at University of Pretoria she was awarded a bursary for tuition fees for the rest of her Law course. Delphina Musisi: Offered a bursary for tuition fees after her first year. (Ex Head girl) Amina Abdullahi: After 2 years at Multimedia University in Kuala Lumpah, Malaysia, Amina was awarded a transfer scholarship to Nottingham University in UK to complete her studies in IT and Political studies. Year 2005/6 Bethany Braaksma: A Tuition scholarship awarded by Hope College, Holland, Michigan, USA. ( Social Sciences.) Jay Katatumba: ILOT ( International leaders of the Future Award)- offered to Jay by University of British Columbia.) Birmingham university, UK,offered Jay a tuition scholarship. Neither were taken up by Jay but he went to Warwick University ( A Russell Group University) and after the first year was awarded a Bursary for the rest of his course in Business Administration. He was top student throughout his 4 years at Warwick. He was then awarded a scholarship for Masters at Oxford University but in the end declined it for a job offer at Citibank, London. Viola Mugamba: Went to Ontario University and after the first year she was awarded a bursary for full tuition at Ottowa University ( One of the top universities in Canada) to continue with her Medicine course but specialize in Paediatrics. Parvathy Venugopal: Awarded a Bursary for University of Brighton, UK, for 30% of tuition fees. Victor Matovu: After his first year at Cardiff University in Wales, UK, Victor was awarded a Bursary for 20% tuition fees for the rest of his Law course. Rona Byaruhanga: Bursary for tuition at University of Sydney for Vetinerary Medicine. Year 2006/7 Frank Kapinga: Tuition Scholarship awarded by Carleton University, Canada for a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. C$ 25,000 per year. Letitia Wu: Tuition Scholarship awarded by Wartburg College,Waverley, Iowa, USA to study Engineering Sciences. Year 2007/8 Michael Sawula: Full Scholarship awarded to Michael by Grinnell College, Iowa, USA.( 11th overall in the nation’s top Liberal arts undergraduate institutions. In the top 1% of colleges and universities for PH.D.s per graduate.) Course:- Economics and Computer Sciences. Aichieli Temu: Full Tuition Scholarship awarded by Carleton University, Canada for BSc in Psychology. Bursary from Liverpool University, UK for Psychology. Trent University, Canada offered full tuition for Psychology degree. (She chose Liverpool) Imran Miiro: $3,000 per semester tuition scholarship offered to Imran for a BA course in Law and International Relations at Carleton University, Canada. Maureen Rutabingwa: Has applied for 50% tuition Scholarship to University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK. Also 30% scholarship from University of Northampton, UK and 30% scholarship from Brunel University, London, UK for courses in Business and Music Management and ICt or Computing. ( She chose UEA, Norwich.) Vivienne Rutabingwa: Awarded a scholarship to Oxford University, UK for a masters degree. Fatimah Garelnabi: C$ 3000 Scholarship for Psychology degree course at Carleton University. Jonathan Busuulwa: Bursary for Reid Kerr College, Paisley , Scotland, UK. Aminata Bamba: As above Mary Ouma: As above. Daniel Braaksma: North Park University, Chicago. Tuition only award. Scholarships for 2010 Irene Kay Kakai: Carleton University, Canada. $ 4000 off tuition Pooja Shah: St Catherine’s University, Minnesota, USA. $ 8000 off tuition. Nemanja Kostic: University of Grenoble, France. 7000 euros off tuition. Erasme Da Cruz: Windsor University, Canada. $ 4000 off tuition. Vedant Pandya: Glamorgan University, UK. $2500. Eldana Mathias: Scholarship for her university in the USA. $ ? Mugabi Byenkya: UBC, Vancouver, Canada. $8000 off 1st year. Hofstra University, NY, USA. $14000 off 1st year.
