Rainbow wins athletics in style.
The second KISU international school athletics meet ended pretty much the same as the first one a year ago with Rainbow more than 100 points clear at the top of the scoreboard when the final results were announced at around 2:00p.m. on Saturday, 15th May.  Like last year, it was a bright sunny day for the event that began around 9:00a.m.  We had many outstanding performers and everyone competed in typical Rainbow fashion, with a smile on their face.  A special mention should go to Harley Mataratse in 6S who picked up 5 red ribbons which is the equivalent of 5 gold medals in ‘Olympics language.’  Thank you to the primary PE staff and several supporters both teachers and parents, who help our children to excel. Final scores:
1st Rainbow    350 points
2nd Aga Khan    247 points
3rd KISU        193 points
4th ISU        136 points
5th Heritage      93 points
6th Ambrosoli      89 points

The 4 strings win the Talent Show

On Saturday 1st May, in possibly the most spectacular evening Rainbow International School has ever witnessed on its own campus, The 4 Strings (Leanne Cullen, Rispa Hatibu, Nicholas Fehling & Angella Kasekende) performed last but came first with their superbly delivered version of ‘Better in time’ in the International Talent Show sponsored by Orange.  There were 640 paying customers as well as several others who found ‘alternative means’ to get in and watch the show.  The organisation and preparation from Ms Imalingat, Mrs. Bisasso and Mr. Howard ensured slick changeovers and polished performances from all the participants.   Indeed it was only the extended intervention of Navio and his ‘crew’ that meant the show finished at 11o’clock p.m. approximately one hour behind schedule.
