The PSA (Parents Staff Association) is an organisation that brings together the parents and the staff of Rainbow International School. All parents of Rainbow pupils and all Rainbow staff are automatically members of the Rainbow PSA and there is no membership fee. The PSA has an elected executive committee that oversees all its operations. The committee must include the 2 head teachers plus at least one other member of staff. Voting is by way of a show of hands at the annual general meeting held in late September. The committee meets once a month to plan for the PSA activities. This year's targets are to redecorate Colours Club and contribute towards secondary school students' lockers and the rainbow road. The PSA fundraises through organising different social events throughout the year such as the Quiz Night, World Cup Fun Day and Film Night. |
